Tibet is a gorgeous blend of 55% merino wool, 24% yak, and 21% polyamide and it is produced in Italy. It has a unique and lightweight chainette construction for added structure.
The combination of wool and yak gives warmth and softness to this yarn, making it ideal also for sensitive skin. Merino wool offers breathability and temperature control, yak adds a beautiful sheen, whereas polyamide gives Tibet strength and durability. Yak is one of the softest, warmest, and most luxurious fibers you can work with.

LOVELY!! This is your typical lighter DK weight and is SO soft. The colors are very true to the image and light weight enough to be the coziest soft sweater, but warm enough through cooler spring days. I honestly can’t wait to buy more because I love it so much! I was surprised with out light and “fluffy” this yarn is. I expected it to be a big thicker and was pleasantly surprised. (I like finer weight yarns)

This yarn is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! It's so squishy and soft!!!! I just want to snuggle with it all day. Color 38-Tibet is just stunning, with subtle brownish beige variations within, noticeable when looking for it. Color us accurate. Would buy this yarn again in a heartbeat!

I bought this yarn and started working with it immediately, it's absolutely beautiful to work with. So soft and squishy and while there isn't much stitch definition I don't mind at all due to how it feels. The colors are beautiful and the resulting fabric is very warm!

This yarn is unbelievably soft! It feels like it's in between 2 weight and 3 weight, and it is chain spun. I ordered #17 based on the photo. What I received is darker and a full matte finish. It's a keeper because of the softness.

So pleasantly surprised. Way out of my budget normally, I caught it on sale. Soft and warm, so light weight it's like working with colored air... I don't know how to explain that any better. Happily awaiting my second order.
