Get ready to dazzle with Dancing Queen, the yarn that knows how to shine.

This 100% polyester metallic yarn is designed to turn every project into a showstopper. With a flat structure (comparable to the structure of a t-shirt yarn), it glides smoothly off your needles or hook, creating a striking fabric that catches the light with every move.

The vibrant, metallic color palette ensures your creations will stand out, especially statement bags or pouches. But remember, just like an ever-changing dance routine, the shades can vary from lot to lot, so make sure you grab enough for your entire project before the music starts!

To keep your stitches grooving, use 7 mm (US 10.75) knitting needles or a 9 mm (US N-13) crochet hook for the perfect rhythm.

Dancing Queen is here to bring the twirls.

NB: We recommend securing enough yarn for your project, as the colors can vary from lot to lot.

Louise

When is dawn how shiny this yarn was I just needed to try it. I wasn't expecting to find yarn that was basically fabric that's rolled up. In making the Sylwia bag, I found my hands turned pink (I'm using color 09 Magenta). My shirt turned pink as well! I've never used a yarn the committed my hands let alone my shirt. I just hope it comes out when I wash it.

The pattern calls for a J (6.00 mm) and E (3.50 mm) hook. The recommended size is N (9.0 mm). I was concerned they were too small. Using a Furls hook was a bad idea because the bowl/mouth isn't deep enough to catch and hold the yarn. I frogged what I did and started with a Susan Bates J (6.00 mm) hook. The Susan Bates hooks have a deeper bowl/mouth so it was much better.

Overall the yarn isn't bad and it sure looks pretty when it's made into something. When I'm done, I'll post in the photo gallery.
