This is perfect for doing squares or circles! The markings really help. Definitely works as a good cheap blocking board and it works perfect for heat! Steaming. Etc. be ready to put your t-pins in a container of some sort because they come taped in a tiny box that will probably fall apart after opening if your like me and you just rip things open. Other than that the product itself is amazing.
