It is a very nice worsted spun yarn, with a good twist and uniform thickness. It has a comfortable hand, so I think I will like working with it. I almost gave it four stars, but not because of the yarn... because of the photos, which may not be fair to the yarn. The colors in the individual skein photos were much lighter than the colors in photos of the yarn packs and with the handsome gentleman. I chose the latter and I'm glad I did! I love the colors I bought. They do match the photos of the yarn packs. I will probably buy more of this yarn.
The yarn looks is a bit thinner than true dk weight yarn. I have not had luck following the weight classes. I use the information on the band, compared with my swatch to determine if I need to compensate, and sometimes I just put it back in the stash with a note to be used for something else.
All in all, I've been quite satisfied with Hobbii!

Despite the mislabeling of yarn weight, it is an enjoyable thin wool to play with. I have had fun making smaller decorative items thusfar, but it would be great to see this re-released in a wider line of colours... and accurate label information, of course. Pity it caused such confusion!

Love the spice color and the weight of the yarn. Ordered more in two shades of gray, medium and dark, to hold together for a marled effect. Will use that to make hubby a sweater.

Very, very likely a lighter weight than stated. If it helps anyone, I measured roughly 15wpi. Using the recommended 4.0mm needles, I have far more than 25sts to 4 inches and the fabric is on the "airy" side. The yarn seems very uniformly spun!
It has a tiny bit of "rustic scratch" to me but the yarn is mid-soft and very squishy. It glides through my hands easily. Knitted up into the swatch it feels softer to me, but feel is always personal.
The color difference between my monitor and the real yarn is huge. The "rust" yarn is more of a deep warm-toned burgandy. If you're looking for a rusty, autumnal orange, "rust" is not your color!
A lovely yarn none-the-less. Glad I'd have back up project plans to accommodate the weight difference!

This is 100% wool, and it appears to NOT be superwash. It is definitely lighter than medium weight. I think it is very close to hobbii silly sock yarn in terms of weight and texture. It's a bit scratchy/rough and maybe it's a tiny bit heavier than the sock yarn but not much if at all. Definitely lighter weight than dk. I am using a 3.75 mm crochet hook. The suggested 5mm was way too big.
