Wool Print is a multicolored 100% wool yarn with a distinctive rustic charm. This yarn stands out with its loosely spun nature, which preserves its natural aesthetic giving Wool Print its distinctive character with a slight variation in thickness. The wool used to produce this yarn is sourced from South America and therefore mulesing-free.
Wool Print’s color palette is fun yet classical and timeless. Ideal for a wide range of creative endeavors with a pair of 6 mm (US 10) knitting needles or a 7 mm (US K-10.5) crochet hook. Think of toasty afghans, jumpers, and cardigans: both if you are working with solid colors, stripes, or an intricate intarsia pattern. It can also be felted, hence you can also craft slippers, mittens, bags, pillow covers, and other home décor projects. The felting capability opens up a myriad of possibilities for both practical and decorative pieces, ensuring that your projects not only look good but also offer enhanced warmth and durability.
With its unexpected texture, Wool Print will make your project one-of-a-kind.
Woolpower has been rebranded into our Wool family. The product and the colors are exactly the same, it is just the label that has a new, fun look. Please bear with us while we phase out the stock with the older label.
The yarn is OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified (no. 2276-367). Find more information about the certification at https://www.oeko-tex.com/en/

This wool felted up beautifully! I made the Happy Sheep Felted Slippers (Crochet) with two balls of 111. For size 8.5-9, it was a little bit of yarn chicken, but each ball was exactly enough for each slipper. After a bit of elbow grease (felted by hand for a couple of hours in alternating hot and cool soaks) the wool shrunk down. The rows of colours blended really nicely. They are still drying (it takes a while to air dry so I do recommend monitoring a machine-dry) but they feel really sturdy. I'm sure they will be warm in the winters. Will finish the slippers with a bit of liquid rubber STOP on the soles.

I got one of these in my "lucky wool bag" - and that was very lucky. I ran out of an other thick wool yarn and continued with this one. It made all the difference. I love the colour flow and it is very nice to work and felts very well. I just wish I had used this as the main yarn on my project. I will know better for next time.

I bought colors 111,112 and 114. I have only used color 112 so far but I absolutely love this yarn. It’s so soft and squishy and the colors work up beautifully! I’ll definitely buy more and I can’t wait to work up my other two colors I got! I definitely recommend this yarn. One ball was perfect for the adult size hat I made.

Lovely soft wool, definitely variation in thickness, makes it all the more charming.
Colour changes are gradual and as the colour changes from one to the next, it makes a new colour which is beautiful. The colour change is not uniform, there is no repeating order that the colours change in so the piece is a rustic mix once completed.

I had ordered 3-4 skeins of Happy Sheep Woolpower Print- Mustard/Rust/Olivie/Perol (101) and i absolutely loved the colour! My scarf looks incredible and the yarn was easy to work with. It’s not the softest of yarns though. I’ve ordered 5 more skeins in colour 105. :-)
