I am a sucker for blue so I ordered this set. The hooks are nice and the grips are comfortable. They are slightly shorter than Clover Amour hooks. I have tried the hooks on acrylic, cotton, and cotton/acrylic. The acrylic yarn (not Hobbii yarn) was one I have not used before but feels soft, but did not glide over the hook easily. I had no gliding issues while using a Clover hook with the same yarn. The cotton/acrylic is like the Sultan Deluxe and the yarn glided over the hook easily. I also tried the hooks on cotton yarn from Drops and that yarn also glided over the hooks easily. The hooks themselves all feel smooth, so I was surprised that the acrylic yarn was being difficult. The case is well made but does not allow for more than a pair of small scissors, stitch markers, and a yarn needle or it will not close. Overall I liked the set.
