Colorina is a lovely, soft yarn with a slightly mottled look combined with long color changes. Colorina is a unique-looking yarn unlike any other.

The yarn has a loosely spun structure, which adds a little variety in thickness. It’s really easy to work with, and you’ll enjoy seeing the results as you work. The long color changes create beautiful plays of color in the form of subdued, wide stripes that slowly change color.

Colorina is a great combination of wool and acrylic, giving you the best qualities of both fibers. The wool makes the yarn breathable, as is common with natural fibers, while the acrylic grants the yarn an incredible color depth.

The result is a warm and wonderfully soft yarn that’s easy to handle since it’s machine washable. The sky’s the limit when it comes to the many creative projects you can make. Colorina can be used for almost any type of clothing - e.g. sweaters, cardigans, ponchos, and, naturally, a wealth of different accessories and interiors.

The yarn is OEKO-TEX® certified (no. 1976-294). Find more information about the certification at https://www.oeko-tex.com/en/

This yarn is gorgeous! I bought the color Dream World. The color is absolutely gorgeous. It has all of the colors from my favorite side of the color wheel. Purplish pink, green, and turquoise. I am making a shawl from one of hobbii's premium patterns. The yarn does not split at all. One of the other reviewers mentioned, pull from the outside. Don't pull from the inside because it does have a tendency to tangle (major yarn barf) from the inside. I actually ended up caking it myself. If you make a mistake, it is a bit difficult to frog it. The fibers on the outside have a tendency to stick together.

Had bought a ton of these in nearly every color when they were on sale and I am loving these so much! Every once in a blue moon they do snag if you are trying to pull out the yarn to correct stitches, but it hasn't been a turn-off for me. It just takes a little extra careful tugging, but that is worth it to me for the gorgeous color changing effects.

Overall this super soft yarn has been perfect for a stained-glass style blanket I've been working on and hope to post pics of once I reach the finish line.

This yarn is so very squishy!! Plush, is a good word for it. And the colors are quite rich. I don't usually like acrylic yarns, but the acrylic/wool blend really changes the characteristics, creating a smooth yarn that is stretchy and strong. I'm not very far into the skein but I can't wait to see how the striping works in Memories. Ara Feathers wasn't available when I first ordered, but I would really love to try that color scheme. Blue is my favorite. :)

I bought the Dream World color, and absolutely love it. Shipping was very fast, and the feel of the yarn is wonderful. This was my first time working with this type of yarn so it took a little getting used to (I ended up wasting a small hunk of it getting started on my project. It's best to work from the outside in, otherwise it yarn barfs all over and you spend more time untangling than you do actually knitting/crocheting.
