I had a bit of trouble getting this pattern to work (probably because I substituted in a different yarn). After some experimenting with hook sizes, though, I got the hang of it, and the end result is really charming. I recommend taking a close look at the accompanying photos if you're new to the basketweave stitch, they really help with figuring out which stitch you should be going into at each stage!
