Cladonia Bag is inspired by lichen on trees! Did you know that lichen can have surprising colors? As orange, yellow or purple. And trees can hide beautiful colors also under their bark. This bag reminds me of the cracked bark of a tree with his lichen and his surprising colors. Let your imagination run wild to match two or more colors thanks to the incredible color range of the Friends Cotton yarn. The embossed box stitch pattern offers a really nice and interesting texture.

This pattern is beginner friendly, it needs only a few basic stitches and the embossed stitch is really easy.

The base and the body of the bag is crocheted in the round. Then the handle is worked back and forth in two parts, joined in the middle.
