Made these with a thicker yarn and large hook. They stand about 2 ft tall. They are for display at the fabric/ yarn store I work. Everyone loves them. They want to purchase them or ask if I could make one or ask for the pattern. A huge hit. Pattern extremely easy and well understandable

I made one with the red hat then decided it needed something extra, so glued some white fluffy ribbon around the edge of the hat and a white pom-pom to the top. Now he is a Shy Santa Gnome !! He is cute, but probably not ideal for a small child with the fluffy edge on the hat.

Made this with dk yarn & 3.25mm hook. Easy pattetn to follow. Perhaps a little more instruction is needed for assembly, not having made toys before I found this hard.
