Quite possibly one of the easiest tote/purse patterns I've ever come across. It works up so quickly, and since I used a wood base and the suggested two strands of yarn (2 different colours!), it's thick, sturdy, and really wonderfully handy. Where the label is in the picture, I stitched a sunflower applique on. I've also added a D-ring to the inside of the shorter sides about 5 rows down from the top. That way, I can clip a strap to it and carry it like a shoulder purse, clip my keys to it, or slip my sunglasses through it.
15/10 would recommend as a pattern for people of any skill level!

This is a fantastic pattern and is very easy to do. The few rows with the decrease stitches give the tote a nice silhouette! I made mine with 2mm cord and the leather base suggested. I’m also added a second color. I have had so many compliments on this bag!!
My only issue is the last bit of instruction is not in English. I had to Google to understand how to make the handle. It was easy to figure out.
I will be making more!!

I’ve just started Chic Shopper crochet purse. Was hoping at the last couple rows could be translated in English terms. Thank you.

Had a lot of trouble reading pattern. Went to google found it in US terms. Bought more yarn to make another. There was not enough yarn to finish kit I bought.
