How to crochet the double crochet decrease

  1. Yarn over, insert your hook into the stitch, and pull up a loop. You should now have three loops on your hook.
  2. Yarn over and pull through two loops. You should now have two loops left on your hook.
  3. Yarn over, insert your hook into the next stitch, and pull up a new loop. You should now have four loops on your hook.
  4. Yarn over, pull through two loops. You should now have three loops left on your hook.
  5. Yarn over, pull through all three loops on your hook.
