I loved working with the Fantasy yarn. The colors were true to the picture shown of the finished sweater. I would not rate this pattern as a beginner pattern. I am not a beginner and had to do some tweaking that only comes from experience. I was not able to get the gauge that was stated in the pattern, so I did a swatch and figured my stitch count from there. I did not make the sleeves separately, but instead attached the yarn under the armpit and worked in rows to the desired length with two decrease rows at the forearm for a narrowing before the cuff. I am really happy with the finished sweater and I hope my Granddaughter loves it.
