Silk Mohair is a playful combination of high-quality fibers. The Italian-made lace-weight yarn consists of 70% super kid mohair and 30% silk, which makes any project feel truly special. Silk Mohair’s subtle halo and smooth drape combined with the exciting color changes will result in a fluffy and vibrant color scape.

Silk Mohair is a perfect companion with any other yarn, but to highlight the delicate and airy texture use it by itself in shawls, lace sweaters, and wraps. Combining several threads of Silk Mohair will add volume and accentuate the play of colors without added weight. For a more delicate look with a touch of luxury, try combining Silk Mohair with a solid-colored yarn.

The recommended needle size is 3 mm (US 3) - 5 mm (US 8), but the versatile yarn can also be knitted on larger needles for a more airy finish.

Beautiful, variegated, and super soft silky yarn! I ordered color 05, which is the main thumbnail for the yarn (first photo). To get an understanding of how the different color options look, it's best to look at the second photo of the overall yarn listing (photo with bowl and hands) instead of looking at the zoomed in photos of the individual color options . Overall, it seems like a very high-end yarn!

I bought shades 2 and 4 just to see what they were like as I was intrigued. The colours weren't subtle like the photos, but were more vibrant (#4 is more the colouring of the ball in the bowl in the photos). Even though the colours are brighter than I'd thought, they are still very pretty and the yarn is lovely and soft.

Tammy

such beautiful color pattern

Made a really nice cardigan out of this wool. Very nice !! Colours were a little mis leading but it was still a very nice colour.

Color is extremely misleading. Ordered color 02 and expected blue and white because that is shown in the picture. However, it’s actually rainbow.
