Throughout Advent, Sari Nordlund invites knitters to dive into a variety of beautiful, texture-rich techniques. For example, you’ll learn how to balance rhythmic, meditative stitch patterns with elegant cable details and expand your repertoire while creating a cozy, wearable winter accessories collection in a contemporary Scandinavian color palette, focusing on nature-inspired tones rather than bright primary colors.
The calendar for knitters is made up of four bags – one for each Advent Sunday – containing all yarns needed for each of the four projects, alongside a mix of delightful surprises and tools that will brighten the season. Designed for an intermediate skill level, the four patterns will be available to download for free, launching consecutively on each Advent Sunday.
The Advent calendar doesn’t include knitting needles. We recommend using circular needles in the following sizes: 2.5 mm / US 1.5, 80 cm (or longer - for Magic Loop)(or DPNs), 3 mm, 40 cm / US 2.5, 16”, 3.5 mm, 40 cm / US 4, 16”, 4.5 mm, 40 cm / US 7, 16” as well as DPNs in size 3.5 mm / US 4.

The patterns in the advent calendar are designed for intermediate knitters.
If you order your Advent calendar alongside other products, the rest of your order will be sent separately. Don’t worry - no extra shipping costs will be added to your order.
The Advent calendar is NOT suitable for knitters who are allergic to wool.
The Advent patterns will be available in English, German, Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish, French, Dutch, Italian, Spanish, and Polish.
The patterns include knitting charts.
Helpful technical videos will be provided in English (with translated subtitles) for the most tricky stitches and techniques in each pattern.
