PATTERN INFORMATION
Snowdrop Balaclava is a loose hood in a snowdrop pattern, which you might be familiar with from my scarf. The hood is worked back and forth on circular needles, from the top down with increases along the back of the head to shape it. The work is then joined to work the ribbing at the bottom and along the opening. Around the face, there is a folded edge with an I-cord drawstring, so that you can pull it tight or loosen it up, depending on how snugly you want it to fit around your head. Feel free to try on the hood along the way to adjust how long it should be. The longer it gets, the baggier and looser a hoodie you will have, rather than a tight fitting hoodie.
