This was my first amigurumi project. Since it was reversable made it challenging. The videos were very helpful in covering the pattern steps. Even though it uses basic stitches (single crochet, half double crochet, single crochet two together etc. US terms), it is definitely and intermediate pattern since you will be crocheting in the round and doing color changes within a round. so be sure you have some experience crocheting. I had a lot of fun making this project.

I'm still relatively new to crocheting, with less than a year of experience. This was my first time making a reversible amigurumi, and it had some challenging parts. But the Projectarian instructional videos were really helpful, and this Hobbii crochet-along was overall quite fun. I gained many new skills through this project, and I'm very proud of the final result.

This was my first Hobbii CAL and had so much fun. I have been doing amigurumi for years so biggest lesson learned with this is to crochet loosely. It will make flipping between characters easier. The pattern was well written and the accompanying videos helped with the trickier parts. Looking forward to my next CAL.

This was such a fun crochet along. The videos were very helpful in completing the sea creatures. I learned a few new techniques. It was fun to use a variety of yarn types & weights. I consider myself a beginner, but with the video instructions, it was easy to complete the sea creatures.

Was fun to make and turned out better than I thought it would. Every time I showed someone it when I was finished they would smile and say cute. Then when I showed them what it could do their faces all showed how surprised they were and then it wasn’t cute anymore , now it was cool.
