This is a great pattern, and easy to follow. There are very little instructions, as you might guess. Takes just a couple of pages of reading. I didn't use the exact yarn suggested. Instead, I used rainbow cotton 8/4 in dark green. Comes out very nicely. Plus, I have pink safely noses already, so I think it looks even cuter with the noses instead of the yarn suggested. Although the pictures of the finished product with pink yarn are really cute as well. I omitted the metal wire as well, because this was being made for a 5 year old girl and her daddy is a bit cautious. The ears stay up just fine anyway, and she will love carrying her cat plushies in this!! ( She has many.) Wonderful pattern!!

I got a new laptop for work and decided to make one of these. I used some of the multicolored 8/4 cotton that I had left over from other projects. It works great to protect the new device and attracts comments. I decided to add a pocket outside to keep my some paper and a pen.
