A super quick and easy pattern! Took less than 20 minutes to go from making the magic ring to weaving in the ends. I really appreciated the photo instructions provided, especially with the pins showing which stitches to work into. A perfect pattern for beginners and a perfect coaster for cold summer drinks! ☀️

I was anticipating that this would be a typical cotton coaster pattern, but it turned out just a little bit special. The dense last round of hdc stitches makes the outer "leaves" a bit thicker than the rest, making the whole coaster more absorbent. Perfect for a cold drink on a hot day.

It is a pretty pattern and it was pretty easy to follow! The only thing that you need to be carefull of is the 4th step. You need to crochet into the same stitch, not the next one : "Skip 2sts and work 1 hdc, ch 2 and 1 hdc in the SAME st. Ch 1".

This was such an easy pattern to follow!! It’s all half-double crochet and chain stitches, super simple. Plan on using this pattern to make holders for my homemade fiddle rosin! Perfect size and shape for something like that.
