This is a very nice pattern with a pretty stitch.
I used a different cotton yarn to the recommended and mine has come up a bit soft.
Next time I would try the suggested yarn for a bit more body.
I used some handles I had on hand and lined the bag with some cotton fabric I had in my stash.

Poorly written pattern. The second row star stitch instructions are the same as the first. All other star stitch instructions I found say to htc between each row of star stitches. This one does not and the directions for how to do it so that it looks like the picture are terrible! Very disappointed! I had really wanted to make this exactly as pictured but gave up after the first row of star stitches!
