This took me a looonnngggg time to crochet but I love how it turned out! Such a cute pattern with great attention to detail. I made a few adjustments to mine because the supplies listed in the pattern wouldn't arrive on time. I purchased a floral foam cone from the craft store for the center and adjusted the pattern to fit around it. I skipped the plastic feet attachment and added a smaller ring to the top. It didn't match the head but it was too late to change it as I had already crocheted all the other rings. Lastly, I found a youtube tutorial for some simple flowers and made a flower crown for the hippo instead of the bow headband. Overall, a fun project and I learned a lot while making it!

This pattern is so beautiful and fun for kids, my 6 month old absolutely loves it. I plan on making a few more of these for friends having babies in the near future! I love that these are like traditional stacking toys- except fun shapes with the animals, and that they’re soft so you don’t have to worry about your baby smacking themselves with it. Very satisfied with this pattern!

Pattern was super fun to work up and it worked up really quick. The pattern also was never boring because it worked up quickly and changed so much. I'll be making more of these in the future.

am currently crocheting another hobbit pattern but will start the dog when I finish. My great grandson was born March 7th and by the time I finish it he will be old enough to play with him
