It is NOT a beginner's pattern. The he pattern is written in a way that you need to know what you are doing and trust yourself. Some rows it says to "knit" and it refers to the act of "knitting" not the stich to use, which is actually a purl stitch. This is also the first time that I made folded edges for the neckline and armholes - and the instructions on how to sew it once you have the correct length weren't included - it just said - make sure you don't sew it tight. There was no instructions on how many stitches to pick up. So, I had to wing it. I looked up on YouTube how to sew the neckline and armholes. Also, watch out for the armholes - make sure you pick up enough stitches. The armholes are snug but still comfortable. I am giving it 5 stars because it does says "intermediate" on the difficulty level and all things considered it turned out well.

This was a terribly written pattern. In many instances the pattern tells you to knit where you need to purl and vise versa. It was hard to understand and follow.. I needed to visit a local yarn shop for some help in deciphering the pattern. I do hope I will be happy with the finished project. I will be hesitant to order another pattern from Hobbii. I would rather pay for a well written pattern. Generally I am not a complainer but this pattern was a huge disappointment and taking me much longer to complete. Thank you.
