Our Silly Socks Flower Pop Mini yarn is made out of 75% wool which will keep your feet warm and cozy, while the 25% polyamide (nylon) will make your socks resistant and sturdy. Silly Socks Flower Pop Mini is the tinier version of our regular Silly Socks Flower Pop and it comes in a 50 g skein. Two skeins will be enough to make a pair of standard-sized socks.
Silly Socks Flower Pop Mini is super-wash treated and this means that it can be machine washed at 30°C (86°F or cold wash). This will definitely make your life easier when taking care of your beautiful socks. Even though this is a classical sock yarn, please don’t limit yourself to only knitting socks with it. Cardigans for children, mittens, beanies, etc. can all be created with this yarn.
Feel free to play with your creativity and work with two threads simultaneously (e.g. lay the thread from the outside together with the thread from the inside). The colors will then get mixed even more creating an even more unexpected and fun effect that will look great in small projects as well as bigger ones.

This was my first time working with a Hobbii wool blend and it was not as scratchy as I thought it would be. Overall, the yarn is not perfectly smooth, there were a few spots where the yarn was a bit thicker than the rest, but those spots were not frequent or big. I ordered Thunbergia (05) and my skeins were more orange/yellow than the stock photo, so a heads up that what you get may vary some. One note is that for some stretches of color, there were tiny dots of other colors (like one dot of black within a stretch of yellow). Not the end of the world, but something to note if you are very particular about color spans. With two skeins, I had enough to make 1 pair of ankle socks, plus one looser slipper sock for sized 7 in US women.

I ordered three of these minis, and I’m in love! 🥰 I prefer short socks, so 50g is plenty for a pair if I use a solid color for the toe/ heel. Such a great way to see the different color ways! Please make more colorways available!
