I loved the checkered pattern of this hat when I saw it and wanted to give it a try plus it is a free download. I wanted to make three toddler sizes so I ordered the Rainbow 8/6 cotton yarn 9 different colors. Changing colors so often is a little challenging in the beginning but once you get the hang of it since you are carrying your yarn along the way it becomes much easier, I enjoyed using this pattern. I have one question regarding round 4 after using colors A and B 5 times, then changing to color C, and then back to B. Was it meant to be color A instead of C?
