I know people have complained a lot about the pattern but I've been crocheting for less than a year and once I got the hang of this one, I loved it so much that I've now made four pairs of these gloves! I think the part with the moving of the markers, as people have said, could be explained a little better, but overall this has become one of my favorite quick little projects and everybody I've made these gloves for has loved them!

Poorly written tutorial even for an experienced crocheter. The instructions on increasing for each round are in separate paragraphs and each paragraph starts with 'On the next rnd increase on each side...' By the time the increases are done, this equals 4 rounds when in actuality there are 14 rounds of sc=single crochet in the first colour after the wrist ribbing. It's also unclear what the author means by + 1sc. Is this a sc space between the beginning and ending increases? Additionally, when starting the 2nd colour yarn...stitching in the round without casting on new loops between palm and thumb will make the mitten too tight and narrow, so I had to cast on 5 loops and then crochet in the round.

I find the pattern very unclear, especially the part with color 52 when we have to do the top and the thumb. it might help to have a clear list of row # and stitch count, or maybe a diagram, or more photos (none of the photos show clearly what happens in most of the last 2 paragraphs)
I found that even the rounds In 55 after the ribbing were a bit weirdly explained but I mostly managed through that
I'm going to wing it for the top & thumb, check other mitten patterns online and see what happens...

I like the result of this pattern but I had trouble reading it. The moving of the marker and the descriptions of the rounds were confusing. They look right so I must have understood well enough. But I don’t think I will use this pattern again
Megan
I had a lot of trouble with this pattern. The moving of the markers and such was very confusing. I think I got it worked out as the final result looks right but I probably won’t use this pattern again.
