A simple easy to follow pattern and works up very quickly with the chunky yarns recommended in the pattern. I struggled a little bit with the border on my first (medium) blanket, but figured it out on my second (small) blanket. I ended up making them shorter than the original pattern too, and looking at them I think you would actually need an additional skein than what is written down. So 6 for small, 10 for medium, and I assume 13 for the large.

I used this pattern for a baby blanket for a new mom with lots of pets. I used Rainbow cotton 8/8 yarn since it was more of a summer blanket. It worked up super easy and the new family loves it. I struggled with the border but once I figure it out, it was easy and really finished the blanket.

Swatched the pattern because I want to use a yarn weight less than chunky and I had to learn what a foundation dc is. Luckily, I had a book on chain-free crochet. After that, I crocheted my swatch from the easy to follow pattern and was delighted to see the paws 🐾 pop out! Great fun!

I got this pattern for my four year old granddaughter. She loves the tv show Paw Patrol. I’m making it in light and dark pink which are her favorite colors. The pattern is very easy to follow and works up quickly. I’m almost done with it and I love it. I’m sure she will too💙
