First, thank you so much for this pattern. It is super adorable. I have just started working on it today and am only on row 4 but seeing the paw prints shape up is making me super excited. I have a suggestion about the instructions for row 4 to help it be super clear. The original pattern for row 4 doesn't take into account the dc in the chain spaces, its implied. I have provided the original instructions and my suggestion just in case anyone else's brain works like mine.
Original
Row 4: ch2, 6dc, *ch1, sk 1 st, 1dc, ch1, sk 1 st, 7dc* to last 9 sts, ch1, sk 1 st, 1dc, ch1, sk 1
st, 6dc, turn.
Suggested
Row 4: ch2, 5dc, 1 dc in ch-sp, *ch1, sk 1 st, 1dc, ch1, sk 1 st, 1 dc in ch-sp, 5dc, 1 dc in ch-sp* to last 9 sts, ch1, sk 1 st, 1dc, ch1, sk 1
st, 6dc, turn.
Thank you Lauren for your hard work and dedication to the craft. This pattern is awesome!

A simple easy to follow pattern and works up very quickly with the chunky yarns recommended in the pattern. I struggled a little bit with the border on my first (medium) blanket, but figured it out on my second (small) blanket. I ended up making them shorter than the original pattern too, and looking at them I think you would actually need an additional skein than what is written down. So 6 for small, 10 for medium, and I assume 13 for the large.

This pattern was fun and easy to do. I ended up using 3 different colors of yarn and absolutely love the way it turned out! My dog always lays on my yarn, so I figured it was time to make him a blanket too. If you are new to crochet, I highly recommend. The pattern itself is easy to understand.

I used this pattern for a baby blanket for a new mom with lots of pets. I used Rainbow cotton 8/8 yarn since it was more of a summer blanket. It worked up super easy and the new family loves it. I struggled with the border but once I figure it out, it was easy and really finished the blanket.

Swatched the pattern because I want to use a yarn weight less than chunky and I had to learn what a foundation dc is. Luckily, I had a book on chain-free crochet. After that, I crocheted my swatch from the easy to follow pattern and was delighted to see the paws 🐾 pop out! Great fun!
