I used this pattern but with a different type of yarn and am so happy with the result. I actually made 2 as Christmas gifts this year. The pattern is easy to follow as someone new to crochet - I had made dish scrubbies and a headband years ago, then decided to try to make this pattern with no other experience. My only feedback is that it worked up more cropped than I expected (I'm guessing mostly due to my tension), but the pattern was easy enough to modify to get the exact shape I wanted. Very cozy and warm, I'm already planning to make a third one to keep for myself!

This sweater is quite cool and the “pumpkin spice” colors match so well with my skin and gives a hint of halloween. But I had to unravel the top part and redesign a bit as it was weird at the front, in the area between my armpit and breast.
