I totally love this pattern. I wonder why I never had the idea to spruce up the granny squares with different stitch sizes. So far I have made 2 tops using this pattern and Rainbow cotton 4/8.
Once you wrap your head around the concept, it's easy to do and the squares can be made to any size.
The key for me was to move the raw change from a corner to just around the corner (2nd stitch past the corner) to a straight area. That way, it worked much better.

I absolutely loved this pattern! What fun! Once I fully understood the instructions, it was very simple to make the squares. Adding in the shoulder and sleeves was also very easy! The worst part about it was the best part of the pattern, the color changes after every round! I adore my new top! 💜🧶

I love the way this top turned out! The finished piece looks complicated but the pattern is relatively easy. I’ve received many compliments on the top and an thinking about making another in the colors of my University!
