the pattern is easy to follow and easy to adjust by changing needle size and number of rows with increases at the start.
I used the recycled "we love cotton" without doubling up as these hats are intended for the hot summer.
I made mine using #5.5 hooks and with 60 stitches (initially 5 rounds of increases) around and my sons with $4.5 hooks and 48 stitches (=4 rounds of increases) around.

My 9 year old great grand daughter was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma recently. She lost her hair and did not want anyone to see her. So I made her this hat in her favorite colors of blue. She sent me a picture. She was all smiles. This patterns was so easy to make. It was easy to follow. Thank you. Your pattern made a little girl smile again.

After trying to follow a YouTube tutorial I failed tremendously my first try. Lo and behold: this pattern helped me a ton. I didn’t make my brim as big and I adjusted to fit my needs but this pattern is great. You can use any stitch as long as you know how to do a magic circle with that stitch! Love it <3

I just finished my Jazzy Bucket hat, and I love it! I made it with Peaches and Cream cotton yarn that was left over from another project. I love how it turned out and it was very easy to follow. I believe this a wonderful beginner project and a great way to practice double crochet stitches!

This is the second jazzy bucket hat I've made. This one used white and light pink (color 51) friends cotton doubled up (about 3 skeins of each). It was the perfect sun hat to wear on a vacation to the Caribbean.
