Horizon offers beautiful, clear colors in the loveliest stripes. It is a super soft and rich yarn, which comes in large, delightful skeins of 200g. You will get really far with just one skein, which contains a total of 550 meters of beautiful stripes.

Horizon is a premium acrylic, so it is spun from extra good quality. This means that, amongst other things, the yarn is processed in several steps, that are similar to the processing of wool. The acrylic is combed, which makes it richer and extra soft. Furthermore, Horizon has been through a Hi-Bulk process, where the yarn is steamed under production and thus pulls together a little. This results in a more comfortable and softer fill.

Horizon can be used for many exciting projects. It is OEKO-TEX labeled, can be machine washed and does not scratch! It is wonderful to use for clothing such as sweaters, scarves, hats, etc. But can also be used for interiors such as a soft, chunky blanket. It is also a great alternative for those that are allergic to wool.

The yarn is spun from a so-called anti-pilling acrylic. This type of fiber is constructed in a special way that makes the fibers less likely to pill, like acrylic usually does. Anti-pilling is neither a treatment or process added to the yarn; the difference is in the construction of the special fiber material that the yarn is spun from.

The yarn is OEKO-TEX® certified (no. 2076-311). Find more information about the certification on the https://www.oeko-tex.com/en/.

Enjoy!

Horizon is colored in hanks, because it gives the loveliest color-shifts and the yarn maintains its thickness. During this coloring process, this can mean that where the yarn’s threads meet, the threads can give off a little color to one another. It is important to emphasize that this happens before the colors are fixed and thus will not run off onto the finished yarn. It can, however, reveal itself as a few extra colored spots within the yarn.

I had no idea what I expected with this yarn- I ordered some in the colors Ocean, Desert, and Island. My only regret is that I should've bought more than one skein of each! They were so bright, so vivid, and so very soft to the touch! It's weight was even throughout and I had no issues with knots. One or two spots had some colors bleed into another, but this was very minor. It also looks pretty good crocheted in half-double crochet and double crochet, and was very easy to work with even when I changed gauges. I highly recommend this yarn for shawls, as well as projects that look good with sharp contrasting colors or different shapes. I do recommend you turn the brightness on your screen up to view the colors properly, though, as they may be brighter than they appear.

First order and OMG I had to place another one -3rd one in a week lol-

I haven’t started knitting with it yet but OMG this is the softest yarn Ever.
I usually knit with premium wool/merino for the softness but this premium acrylic feels amazing. The colours are so vibrant too (I ordered flower meadow - just placed an order for more 😂)
I cannot wait to start my project with it !

Husband wants a super colourful blanket, I will post a picture when it’s finished -probably not before July 2021-

Bought several colors when on sale as I wanted a thicker weight yarn than my beloved Twisters. Circle into square and diagonally striped blanket and pillows are on many loved ones gift list- this yarn looked like it would work up quicker and be just as cool looking with the colors. It arrived and gifts can wait- my color Horizon top down raglan Tunisian crochet blouse became the #1on project list and I’ll find something else for 2nd place for it -this yarn is amazing I love it.

Read all the description! I almost asked for a return because there was alot of spots where black spots where in the other colors making it look dirty in my opinion. I had to change my idea for a scarf and tried again because the feel was amazing which I am in love with it all over again. I knitted it length ways instead of the width and I can't be happier. Its gorgeous and has so much character. After I block it, I will post a picture.

I LOVE this yarn. I love how it works up. I love how it feels. I LOVE it crocheted in a textured stitch. I just love it. BUT !!! But you HAVE to roll it into a ball or else you will spend HOURS undoing knots and yarn barf. The skein of yarn will completely yarn barf on you the second you start working with it if you dont take the time to roll it into a ball. BUT.. I will still buy it and roll it into a ball because I LOVE this yarn !!!
