Honey Bunny Candy is a super bulky velour yarn made out of 85% polyester and 15% polyamide. The chenille’s silky and smooth texture has now gotten a sprinkle of rainbow neon flecks running around the main polyester thread.  

It can be both knitted, using 6 mm (US 10) knitting needles, or crocheted with a 7 mm (US K-10.5) hook and will be ideal for tight and easy types of stitches. The color palette is varied with both subdued and bright colors for you to choose from. All the shades available can be matched with all our Honey Bunny products, so this variant will also work great as vibrant detail in your project.

I haven’t actually used the yarn yet so I’m giving a purely visual/tactile review right now. The chenille part is as soft as the normal Honey Bunny, but the colour-dy but wrapped around the yarn makes the overall texture slightly different. You can feel the string. But it’s still soft. I do wonder if the string could unwind with time but I have not tested this yet. The “candy” part of Honey Bunny Candy looks just like their new Candy Pop yarn, so you could do a DIY version of Honey Bunny Candy by buying Candy Pop I guess. That would give you more options in terms of the background colour. Thing is though that with Honey Bunny Candy the string/candy pop is wound around evenly and looks quite firmly wound too (without choking the chenille)

So easy to crochet with. The little coloured flecks are actually on a very fine thread that is twisted into the honey bunny. Just beautiful, so vibrant.
Great for kids toys, it's so soft 🤗

I love this yarn, it is so soft and a treat to work with. It doesn't shed except off of the ends when weaving in but that can be easily managed. Beautiful colours and great for amigurumi projects.

I love it! Much better than the plain honey bunny. The fuzz does NOT come off the string, you can actually carefully frog it, and it's easy to work with. Also sooo pretty!

I have tried the cool blue colour. It has a very nice effect. I have used it for making Amigurumi and I enjoyed working with this yarn!
