Hobbii Granny Square - Daisy
MEASUREMENTS
11 x 11 cm (4.3” x 4.3”)
PATTERN INFORMATION
From the Great Depression, to the hippie movement and recently on fashion runways, granny squares have always been around!
Because of their versatility and customization they can be turned into absolutely anything, from the traditional blanket, to summer tops, skirts, bags, cardigans, vests… Anything! You name it!
They are an excellent way to make use of your scrap yarn and experiment with color combinations but they are also easy to carry around with you! So what does a you-granny-square look like?
NOTE! The pattern in the photo is made with one or more discontinued colors. Check your cart for color alternatives.
Here you can easily and quickly buy everything needed for this pattern.

This pattern was very easy to follow, although I needed clarification on what the incomplete DC and incomplete TC we're. ( They are actually 2dctog and 4tctog in this case. NOT half DC and half TC.) I watched the Hobbii video tutorial which cleared this up fast. I used an 8/4 cotton instead of 8/8, and on this case I have to say that the 8/8 yarn would make a better square. Usually I can use 8/4 for other pieces, but this granny square, she requires a thicker yarn.

Very very very very very very easy. Made a whole blanket for my great great great great great grand son. He is now .5 months old. His head is big but fits in the blanket. Love it for him. It’s a slay for me. That’s what my great great great grand daughter uses those word! Love that for you!❤️

Obsessed with these granny squares, I am just learning to branch out from my basic double crochet blankets and try new things, easy things like this and the Sunflower pattern really help me practice something new and an easy way to use up left over yarn!!

I love these patterns. They are perfect for my odds and ends of yarn left over from previous projects. I plan to use them in a throw of all kind of different squares with a solid color to join them. Thanks for offering them.

Looks interesting. It would have been helpful for beginners to have a description of how the half DC and half TR are made, but I figured it out.
