About the Friends family
The colors of the yarns included in the Friends family are literally friends!
This means the color numbers correspond to the same color across the different Friends yarns. If you order the same color number from two different Friends yarns, they will match. Please note that there can be slight differences in the shades from fiber to fiber.
Have fun combining and matching them in all your projects.

I absolutely love this yarn. I made a beautiful cardigan using this yarn. It crochets easily and It’s really soft. Luckily for me it frogs well. I chose a pattern that starts from the top down, which I have never done before so with that and just missing stitches because I wasn’t keeping track of my stitches, I had to frog quite a few times. I loved it so much I had to order some other colors. I can’t wait to use the peach color one that I recently ordered. I can’t remember the name of it but it’s really pretty. I highly recommend this yarn.

This yarn is an absolute dream! I bought a bunch of colours, knowing that I'd have a new grandchild soon. The first item I made was a newborn cardigan and it crocheted beautifully. It's so easy to work with and is INCREDIBLY soft. The strands of cotton don't unwind from the strand of silk. It has a gorgeous sheen in the finished product and I'm so glad i bought as much as I did. My only complaint is that there aren't nearly enough colours. I want ALL the colours of the colour wheel!! I love it that much.

This yarn is so fun to work with. I crocheted a dress using the Eucalyptus colorway (which is darker, bluer, and richer that it looks online), and it was so easy to work with. The construction of the yarn means it doesn't split very easily (and also frogs painlessly). It has a nice texture from the ply but still glides smoothly. I do wish that this would come in a lighter weight, though, since the fabric this works up into is actually quite thick, while I'd expect a cotton and silk garment to be lighter.

I really wasn't expecting to like this so much, but it's really a nice yarn to work with in both crochet and knitting. I bought it to add to another very textured hand -dyed yarn that wasn't quite enough to make a blouse. Great yardage for the weight. If my stash wasn't already huge, I'd order more for a summer top. It would also make a wonderful light winter sweater for those who live in more temperate climates, or where summer is breezy and cooler, think Pacific Northwest.

I love this yarn. It's so soft, and I love the slight contrast between silk and cotton fibers as they are plied together. It drapes so nicely and feels so nice on the skin. I'm using the Misty Green color to make a basketweave sweater and it has been working up so nicely. I had no issues with splitting, and I felt like the color matched the images. Highly recommend this for a bit more of a luxurious yarn than just a standard cotton.
