The pattern is not clear. In Round 3, the instructions to "repeat from * to * " don't include a ch1 space between the corner clusters. Thus in Round 4, the instructions for the sides are to work 3dc in the next ch space but there was no ch space worked in Round 3. The chart does not include a ch space along the sides either.
