Deluxe Baby Blanket

Spoil a newborn with this beautiful Deluxe baby blanket

Spoil a newborn with this beautiful Deluxe baby blanket. It is crocheted in Sultan Deluxe which is a yarn in 100% soft cotton available in fabulous color combinations. It has a gorgeous shell pattern which gives the blanket a wonderful look. Happy crocheting!

The photos also show the following colours/qualities: Sultan Deluxe - Paraiba Tourmaline (12)

My amazing mother-in-law (who never asks anything for herself) requested a baby blanket but in peaches and oranges. So, I made this blanket using Sultan Deluxe Koi Diamond (24). I crocheted a flower to attach in the corner using similar colors and I’m calling it my Sunset baby blanket. The yarn is amazingly light and soft! The blanket turned out beautifully even if I do say so myself 😂. I do a care card with every blanket delivery and I share how the yarn has already travelled the world from a palace called Hobbii in Denmark to Florida to be used to make such a beautiful creation. Thank you for being a part of my creations!

Such a lovely pattern! This was easy to follow and understand. I am fairly new to anything other than basic rows, but I was able to use this with no issues and no frustration! The blanket works up so lovely, it was hard to give it away! This will be a go to pattern for me from now on!
This is the PERFECT pattern when you have a limited quantity of yarn and aren't sure how far it will go. This works from the center out, so it is great for using a limited amount of yarn and just finishing off the blanket when you get to the end of your yarn.

I love this pattern!! It's really really easy to follow, and only uses basic stitches. A lot of chains, then double and single. If you can make all these, and a magic ring, you're all set to make this. I made this blanket using a light weight yarn, or a 3 weight, and a 4mm hook. It makes up really fast, and I could almost completely zone out, other than having to count the 7dc for each of the shells. I can't believe this was a free pattern. The blanket is gorgeous!

This was a fun pattern with this yarn, watching it change hues as I worked out from the center. I chose to have the lighter hue in the middle, with the darker hue on the outside edge, as suggested by my sister who reminded me if the child loves it, it will drag it along everywhere and you want the dark on the edges. I'll be giving it to my other sister this weekend for her baby shower and I can't wait for her to see it.

I just finished this blanket. It looks great and using sultan deluxe made all the difference. I made it a little larger and edged it using fringes so you can attach it to the pram
The pattern was easy to follow and once the concept of the stitch combination was understood, I didn't have to use the description anymore.
