This pattern is easy enough to memorize, which makes it very handy when I want to have a lap project at a talk or lecture class. I’ve made this project many times in several weights/sizes. I’ve given several away — when we traveled in the fall, I left pumpkins behind as small hostess gifts. And a few of them are adorning my Thanksgiving table right now!

I loved the pattern after a few rows you don’t have to think much or even count the stitches. The pictures help knowing what you are doing is correct. I didn’t know how to make pumpkins pucker and now I do! The stem is a better pattern than I have seen before. Thanks!!

Very easy to work with! I made one for my mom with thrifted blanket yarn. I think my only problem is that it was too big, despite me using the small pattern. But that’s an error on my end. My mom LOVED it anyways! 🩵 Love you guys!
