PATTERN INFORMATION
This cardigan consists of several parts: Body, Sleeves, Yoke and Band. It is made from the bottom up: Body and Sleeves are crocheted separately, then they are joined with each other and finished up to the neck. If you desire a longer or shorter cardigan just change the number of stitch repeats (remember to edit the amount of yarn). Have fun! Used stitches: slip stitch, chain, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, treble crochet, double crochet 2 stitches together, treble crochet 2 stitches together, X-stitch, puff.
Here you can easily and quickly buy everything needed for this pattern.

I have nothing negative to say about that pattern but, just a warning. I ordered from the patttern's page for a size medium. I made a mistake and started a size small. I decided to finish it anyways and re-do it in medium after. It went well until I got to the second last green row of the second sleeve and came short. We all crochet differently so, I would suggest to have "back up" balls for each color. They don't cost a lot and you will be sure to have the same lot number for the color. I got lucky and you can't tell where the new yarn start, but you never know 😉

Kate Kosenko is a wonderful designer! The second I saw this cardigan, my 2 year search for the perfect pattern came to a grinding halt. I immediately bought the yarn and started working on it. The pattern included 2 stitches that I hadn't done before, but Kate's instructions were very clear, and I was able to work them into the piece perfectly. I can't wait to finish sewing in the loose ends, so I can finally wear it! Sorry, Kate! I didn't do that as I went along, per your instructions.

Up to now a very well written patten. I wasn't familiar with X stiches and since I am a visual, couldn't figure out the explaination, but now that I saw it on youtube, I can tell you that it is well explained in the pattern. An easy but oh so beautiful pattern. Can't wait to show you the result. Making it with the suggested color for my 79 years old mother that doesn't dress like an old lady. She will look so pretty in it 😍
