PATTERN INFORMATION

This fun and squishy beauty is knitted in the round from the waistband up. There is the option for a ribbed waistband or the turned up garter stitch waistband shown in the picture. The Monster Sweater is then separated for the front and back panels, and worked in flat stocking stitch. We pick up stitches around the arm holes for the iconic huge sleeves. We finish off the sweater by picking up stitches along the neckline for the neckline ribbing. The Monster Sweater is totally seamless, apart from the shoulder stitch 3 needle bind off which means more knitting, less seaming - YAY! Weaving in ends is an option, not a must.

The sweater is made holding 5 strands of yarn together. To get lots of colour change it is recommended to use at least 11 colours. After completing this sweater you will be a dab hand at colorwork and mixing colours together.
