PATTERN INFORMATION

Darling Tee is worked from the top down with raglan increases on each side of 4 stitches, forming the pattern of a mock twist along the way. The mock twist in the raglan seam continues down the sides of the body. The front pieces are knitted back and forth so that the buttonhole opening is created.

When the front pieces are joined, the rest of the top is worked in the round in stockinette stitch, except for the pattern seam on both sides. The close-fitting shape is achieved by working decreases along the body so that you get a waisted top.

The neck opening, the sleeve edges and the lower edges of the body are worked in a lace pattern and folded over so that the fine picot edges are created.
