ABOUT THE PATTERN
The Winterwoods Sweater is a charming Christmas sweater which is inspired by the magical atmosphere of a winter forest. It is worked in two-colored, stranded knitting and features a collection of cozy motifs, including gingerbread men, bows, mushrooms, Christmas trees, snowflakes, and stars. The perfect sweater to compliment a warm and festive winter wardrobe.
The pattern encourages you to rearrange the order of the motifs and create your own unique design.
The sweater is worked top down with classic raglan increases. The colorwork motifs are worked using stranded knitting. After the yoke is complete, the sleeve stitches are put on hold while the body is finished. Lastly, the sleeves are worked separately.
