PATTERN INFORMATION

The Windswept Hood draws on Scandinavian design efficiency, combining an elegant scarf with a protective head cover. The piece is worked flat from the rear of the hood to the scarf ends, in classic all-over stockinette with wind swirl accents. Folded and seamed at the back, it features an all-over I-cord trim for a pretty and functional edge preventing the stitches from rolling.

Knit flat back and forth from the back of the hood to the opening, then to the end of each scarf. Knit using just one needle size. The techniques used in the pattern include lace eyelets, i-cord edging, increases, decreases, and stockinette. The pattern contains chart instructions.
