MEASUREMENTS
The Sasha Dress has approx. 10 cm / 4 inches of positive ease measured around the bust. Meaning it is approx. 10 cm / 4 inches larger in circumference than your actual chest circumference.
The measurements are given on the diagram at the end of the pattern.
The ease mentioned above is already included in the pattern instructions.
PATTERN INFORMATION
The Sasha Dress is worked from the top down in stockinette stitch on circular needles.
Start your work with the back yoke, followed by the straps and front neckline, then continue the body incorporating the button band as you go. A ruffled edge is worked at the hem.
The dress is finished with a picot edging along the arm openings, neckline and button band.
The dress shown in the photos includes a few minor imperfections for sample purposes:
- An excess of buttonholes was made; after completion, every other buttonhole was closed with a seam. These adjustments will not be present on your finished garment.
- The neckline of size XS is slightly deeper than intended; it will be reduced by approx. 2 cm / 0.75 inches in the final version of the pattern.
