PATTERN INFORMATION

The Dorthea Mittens are worked in the round from the bottom up. You start with a ribbed cuff, then continue in stranded colorwork following chart. A piece of scrap yarn is knitted in for the thumb placement. Finally, the scrap yarn is removed, and the thumb is worked in the round.
