PATTERN INFORMATION

Add a splash of color to your outfit, make a checkered bag and use it for everyday life and parties. The bag is worked in the round as a striped cylinder in stockinette stitch. Then you crochet into the vertical lines, thereby forming the beautiful, checkered pattern. Straightforward and simple.

When the handles have been attached, the bag is put in the washing machine with a pair of worn-out jeans on the regular, warm setting and the wash causes the wool to shrink, whereby it gets felted and the fabric becomes thick and durable. Clever and practical at the same time, what’s not to like?!
