Starlight Soft Christmas is a soft and lovely acrylic version of our mega-popular Starlight. It has the same type of reflective thread woven into the yarn, which can’t be felt in the finished project. Although the thread is hardly visible in the yarn, when it is hit by light it will produce a reflective effect. It’s a really fun and functional detail which is a real hit, especially in the dark months.
Starlight Soft Christmas is easy to work with and with size 5 needles it can be quickly transformed into hats, mittens, scarves, and more. It’s soft and comfortable against the skin and doesn’t itch. It can also be tolerated if you’re allergic to wool!
NB: Please be aware that Starlight yarns are not safety-approved for use in traffic. Even if you decided to knit yourself coveralls out of the yarn, it will only be supplementary - Starlight will never be able to replace a reflector or a high visibility reflective vest. So take care of yourself in traffic and ensure visibility with CE-approved reflective materials.
