Absolutely loved this pattern! I also loved how thick the coasters were. They were not flimsy at all.

I wanted to try a pattern that used a technique I didn’t know, so the “C2C” Coaster was perfect to try out. The pattern itself is walks you through the steps and includes very detailed pictures which was helpful in learning this new technique. However, for more experienced crafters using a more challenging pattern, I would of liked to see the written instructions all together at the top then the picture tutorial after, that way if you don’t need the pictures, you don’t have to scroll through a bunch of pages. As for this pattern itself, there was one spot that was unclear (the end of the decrease row says to CH1 into the corner of the last “square”) I eventually settled on doing a single crochet which turned out fine, but for beginners that could be a very frustrating part.

I wanted to try C2C but didn’t want to jump into a big project and this pattern seemed perfect and an excellent way to use up some of the cotton yarn I got in my cotton lucky bag. The written pattern and corresponding pictures were so confusing. The way the decrease was written in the pattern didn’t look right. I watched a YouTube tutorial on C2C to complete the first coaster after that I was able to complete the other 3 without much difficulty.
