Bio Balance is a 100% organic mixed yarn (55% organic wool and 45% organic cotton) that's GOTS-certified. This ensures that all standards concerning organic materials, environment, and sustainability have been adhered to - that demands concerning coloring processes, wastewater treatment, and the quality of the finished yarn are controlled, and that social and working conditions are all within ILO. GOTS is the only eco-label that’s recognized internationally.
The raw wool comes from mulesing-free farms in South America. The cottons are grown in Turkey, where the yarn is also spun.
Bio Balance is a lovely, soft, carded yarn with super pretty mottled patterns. The combination of the two fibers’ properties makes the yarn appropriate for a wide variety of projects and ensures a high level of comfort, making the yarn perfect for projects for both children and adults.

Knitted this yarn held together with Deli Mohair into a buttoned vest for my daughter. Easy to work with, great stitch definition and blocked beautifully - has a great combination of stretch and structure to maintain shape. Very happy with result - and so is my daughter!

Working on my second project with this yarn. So far I have been really enjoying the way it has the properties of both fibers; the stretchiness of wool and the cooling feel of the cotton. I might try other brands of similar compositions to compare

Just finished my sweater in this yarn, consistent, as described good length in each skein. Not the softest due to cotton but doesn’t feel scratchy and will not be directly on the skin. Yarn and color consistent throughout

This yarn is very soft and light, not scratchy at all. I knitted summer top with this yarn. Good for all year round summer(where I live). The sweater looks so good! I wil buy this yarn again.
