Love the KAL! I chose my own colors because of the brightness---I chose earthy tones. However I love that others are not afraid of bright colors! Directions are easy to follow, which I appreciate do to being a very beginner knitter. Struggled a little with the circular needles on clue 5 due to the narrowness of the sleeve. I went back and watched the video and realized the trick I needed to do to bunch up the fabric and pull the plastic circular thru ---very clever! Already looking forward to you next KAL!

J’adore ce projet! C’est la première fois que je suis aussi accro à un modèle. Les couleurs, les textures, tout me rend heureuse dans cette création.
J’adore aussi — surtout! — les vidéos explicatives de Katie Jones qui sont d'une clarté redoutable. Je n'avais jamais tricoté, à part un foulard dans ma jeunesse, et j’arrive à suivre le modèle sans problème.
Merci infiniment pour ce projet qui me rend heureuse et me donne une immense dose de confiance en moi!

Had a great time doing this MAL. Chose my own yarn from my stash and used Hobbii Amigo (dk weight) yarn. The videos that accompanied the pattern were fantastic and a great help. I am not a fast knitter and still finished each section before the next weeks step were posted. Never thought I could make a knit sweater in 7 weeks.

This was a fun MAL! I knit and crochet and decided to do the knit version. I felt like it was easy to pick up new skills and that the sections were perfectly paced. I will definitely do other make a longs with her in the future!

Very straight forward so far. I ended up using a 4.5 mm to get to the correct gauge. I choose to use colors I had at home since I didn't like the color combo. Using shades of blue.
