Pro tip: Before you start working the Twirl cake, run all 4 treads through a small bead to help the threads stay together throughout the project.

Twirls is working up beautifully!! This is not like typical dyed gradient yarn. This is 4 ply thin thread merged together over time throughout the cake. Ex: For the Diamond the white starts out as 4 white strands. In time, 1 grey strand is introduced. Then 2 strands and so on until 4 grey strands are in use. The black is introduced the same way. This is a much nicer way to introduce the gradient colors as the color transitions are subtle and not as noticeable as the dyed gradient colors. The only drawback to this type of gradient process is the introduction/reduction of strands are not secured. They are twisted and do come untwisted. I found if I pull each end of the yarn taught and tie a mini knot in the transition strand I don’t end up with a defective end product. I have been back to Hobbi to order more. The yardage is perfect too. I was able to complete a large shawl with one cake. This is a win for me!! This yarn and the free gift put a smile on my face!!

I have to admit I was sceptical about ordering from a company so far away, but I have seen so many gorgeous projects made with your yarn being shared on alot of crochet groups and I kept watching your sales. Not only did I receive my absolutely stunning order of Twirls yarn, I also purchased a mystery bag of 4 cotton kings and oh my word! Although the photos on line of both the yarn and patterns available are stunning, you definitely need to see these beautiful cakes in your own hands!! They are unbelievable soft and the colours are so gorgeous ❤️.
I am anxiously working to finish a wip so that I can start playing with my new yarn!! I am absolutely thrilled with my order and I was completely shocked that it arrived in eastern Ontario Canada in just a very few days. Thank you Hobbii for the gracious gift and the treat, plus the incredible free shipping. You definitely have me "hooked". Happy crocheting to all!!!

Initially I purchased two cakes. I've used the Azurite cake to knit a beautiful beaded shawl for a Christmas present. It's one of the most gorgeous pieces I've ever made (to the point where I'm almost sad it was intended to be a present). I give a lot of the credit to this yarn! It's so fun to work with.
I have since bought several batches of these cakes. I'm at around 10 total now!!! I'm in LOVE with it. The cotton is soft. The colors are beautiful, and I LOVE the subtle color change that happens with only one strand changing at a time. My cakes had little knots when the strand changed color. They didn't bother me and were easy to hide in the backside of my project... If I manage to use all the cake I've already purchased, I will definitely come back for me...
ALso, I'm in California, USA, sooo the 7.50$ (or FREE for $75+ orders) is INCREDIBLE for international shipping. Hobbii is great. Thanks guys!

The colors! I saw a skein of Twirls advertised through FB & I couldn't resist following the link. I bought two skeins (one for a friend and one for myself). When my package arrived and I finished dancing and opened it, I was hit with a wall of disappointment. The yarn was so thin! Like 4-strings-of-thread-thin. I gave a skein to my friend in the hopes that she would be able to show me how to use it without ruining it. When she offered to return the yarn back because it was too thin, the intimidation set in. If a seasoned crocheter didn't want to use it...I was doomed. Finally, I sat down and tried it. I couldn't let that go to waste. Granted I made some mistakes in my Virus shawl and there were some of the transitions in the yarn that was clunky. 100% totally worth it. I have never looked at a finished project with so much enjoyment and will definitely purchase more. #hobbiitwirls are my #newfavorite

The Cotton Kings Twirls was my very first purchase from Hobbii! Saw the add on FB and decided to give it a go. I'm in the US so didn't know how ordering from Denmark would work, but it totally did! The package took less than two weeks to arrive and Hobbii's customer service kept me fully apprised of the status of my order. I was surprised that my order came in two packages, but who cares? The yarn itself is colorful and oh so soft! It even has a "start here" sticker on the beginning of the cake! What a nice touch! I've got several projects in mind for my yarn. First and foremost is baby items I'm going to make for the soon to come bundle of joy! I got four of the Galaxy color cakes just for some colorful blankets and toys for the new one! Can't wait to get started! Thanks so much to Hobbii for such a wonderful product!
