This gorgeous yarn pack includes 10 skeins of Cotton King cotton yarn, Cotton 8/4.

Cotton 8/4 is produced in 100% pure and lovely cotton and comes in a large assortment of good, fresh colors. The yardage is 170 meters and is suitable, primarily, for needles/hooks of 2.5 – 3.5 mm. Cotton 8/4 is suitable for pretty much any kind of knitting and crocheting you can think of. From baby and Summer clothes to towels, interiors, dishcloths, teddies, and throws.

As with all 100% cotton yarn, it can be machine-washed and can be boil-washed. This is especially important if you use the yarn for dishcloths, towels, etc. On the label we recommend 40°C, but only because the heat can make the colors fade in the long run.

The bags contain the following color combinations:

  • Wonderbag (304): 13, 16, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 40, 41, 42

The yarn is OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified (no. 2076-311). Find more information about the certification at https://www.oeko-tex.com/en/

Arrived in Canada surprisingly fast, and if you want to avoid duty fees, I have found the perfect amount of packs you should buy to 1) pay no shipping and 2) pay no taxes/duties. I have found the magic number to be 10 packs! This way Hobbii splits it in 2 shipments, each of 5 packs. The only time I had duties to pay was when I ordered 8 packs from Hobbii. Hobbii put it all in one bag and only then I had to pay for duties. But my guess is that 10 pack is too much for one bag so they split it in 2 and the value on the bag is half of your total order and the customs seem to think it's not enough to charge duties ;) at least this has been my experience over 6 orders, with only one where I had to pay duties.

I recently purchased 3 cotton 8/4 wonderbags this was my first ever purchase of products from Hobbii, since I'm from Australia I was unsure how, or how long it would take to arrive. I am pleasantly surprised by the quality and range of colours in the bag.
I suffer from Parkinson's and cannot visit the shops I would like to, but with the Hobbii shop at my fingertips just with my tablet or computer I can access all the craft products right there in my wheelchair and get it delivered to my door.
On top of this convenience is the 1,000's of free patterns included at the same site again with just the click of a button.

I bought wonderbag 303 as part of my first purchase (which sadly the first shipment got lost in the mail but customer service helped out and got a new shipment sent my way very quickly after I told them). This yarn is amazing! It is so soft, easy to work with and such beautiful colors. I have since ordered 306 and 304 and am on my second project with it, which I realized I am a ball short of the colour I need and so I ordered a single ball of it yesterday. With fingerling yarn so hard to find where I live I am so glad that I can get such a great product online.

I ordered five of these wonderbags as my first order to use for weaving dishtowels on my RH loom. It was so fun to have so many colors. Delivery was so fast. I took them to my mom’s house, opened the bags, and was able to assemble a color palette that exactly matched her decor. They are weaving up beautifully, along with some white Brassard 8/4 I had on hand. This yarn is softer than the Brassard, but is holding up perfectly under tension. I couldn’t be more pleased. I immediately places another order.

This is an other example of a good thing coming to an end. I love this yarn. I have been using it for virtually everything and these colour bags make sure I have colours that blend nicely together and they are more cost effective then purchasing them separately. I have made a few tunics and jumpers out of it. It wears well. I also used it doubled up for kitchen towls, washcloth and pot holders and seat cushons. I halso have used it for Amigurami. So it's the perfect all round yarn.
